An early 20th century papier mâché head of a clown, originally a fairground game of throwing a ball into the clowns head. Very unusual to find an original. It hangs from a rear fixing, or sits on a surface. It has retained the charming original paintwork, albeit with some scratches and knocks here and there. There is some loss to the neck ruffle (see photographs). Height 38cm width 30cm depth 43cm
